Frequently asked questions

No. We only take reservations for dining at the restaurant during dedicated service times: between 12pm and 2:30pm for lunch, between 6pm and 10pm for dinner, at 10:30am or 1pm for our Sunday brunch. In the afternoon, no reservation is necessary. It’s a first-come, first-served basis. To ensure that we are not booked for private events, feel free to check our website or give us a call.

We ask that you reserve for brunch exclusively via the website as we require payment for all brunch spots in advance due to the significant number of no-shows. Thank you for your understanding. The cancellation policy is as follows: we must be notified strictly 48 hours in advance before the date and time of your brunch, a voucher for the cancelled amount will be issued with a validity of 2 months. We do not offer refunds. You can notify us by phone. Otherwise, if the line is busy, by email.

No, we do not have a waiting list. Feel free to call us before service, as some tables may cancel.

We do not assign tables in advance. Upon arrival, you can choose your table. First come, first served.

We have a semi-private space, the Kennedy room, which can accommodate up to 15 people. If you have more guests and wish to be secluded from the rest of the clientele, we offer our 1st floor room for rent.

For the restaurant, we only open reservations one month in advance. It is possible to reserve more than a month in advance by renting all or part of Chalet Robinson, by contacting the Choux de Bruxelles caterer.

At the request of our customers, we can include a sparkler on one of the chosen desserts.

Your dogs are welcome if they are kept on a leash, clean, and discreet.

No. Your vehicle can be parked on the various streets nearby: av. de la Clairière, av. Diane, av. de Flore, av. de l’Orée. The parking fee is as per the current rate in the City of Brussels. You then need to walk to the pier and take the boat to Chalet Robinson.

Yes! The pier provides the necessary space for your bike, and a parking space is provided upon arrival on the island.

Yes! We have several vegetarian options on our menu, and some of them can be adapted to a vegan version.

Your children are welcome, and a children’s menu is available on our menu.

Yes! Large groups are welcome. Special arrangements are available for groups of more than 10 people.

Yes! The pier provides the necessary space for a wheelchair, and it is possible to access the restaurant (ground floor) and toilets without using stairs.

The price of the crossing is €1 for a round trip. This amount contributes to the payment of the boatmen responsible for crossing, as well as covering the costs associated with the installation and daily maintenance ensuring the proper functioning of the boats.

No. The only way to access Chalet Robinson is through the pier, which takes you across the lake.

The crossing takes 3 minutes.

Absolutely. The restaurant offers a spacious terrace. Feel free to specify your preference for a terrace table when making your reservation.

No. We do not have a bedroom. The “Made in Louise” Hotel, located at 40 Rue Veydt, 1050 Brussels, is nearby and offers a very welcoming atmosphere.
